Our Garden shop has quickly gained a reputation as the place to go for that special gift. We stock a diverse range of books, toys, handcrafted items, local art, bush tucker and gardening gear.

We also stock a seasonally changing range of delicious jams, pickles and chutneys all made lovingly by our Friends of the Garden, using super fresh local produce.

Our regular opening hours are:

  • Open Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 4pm
  • Every day during NSW school holidays
  • Open public holidays except Good Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

We take pride in what we sell and wherever possible select Australian made products. We are serious about wanting to help save the planet so have developed our own Cultural and Responsible Retailing Policy.

This policy ensures we consider the environmental impact of every product before we consider selling it, from manufacturing processes right to the very end of the products life.

Plant stock

In our plant shop we're pleased to offer a diverse range of locally grown plants for you to purchase. We offer over 200 species, many of which are available all year round. We are also licensed to grow and sell some of our regions threatened species.

Our plants end up in domestic gardens, farms, public spaces and even large scale landscape rehabilitation projects throughout our region and we are proud to be able to play a role in caring for our environment.

Produced with the help of our Garden volunteers, the plants we sell are propagated from seeds and cuttings sourced from collecting trips throughout our region and within the Garden's own collection. They are then grown and hardened off right here at the Gardens.

Because we are propagating for a botanical collection sometimes we have a surplus of unusual plants, so it's always worth popping in to see what is available.
