Display Gardens in the Botanic Gardens

Display Gardens provide the opportunity to exhibit flora from the Gardens Collecting Region, demonstrating its species diversity.

Many plants in the Display Gardens are suitable for amenity horticulture and home gardens. A range of plants that is continually changing is available for purchase from the Plant Shop adjacent the Gardens Cafe.

The Sensory Botanic Garden

The Sensory Garden, sited along the limited mobility track, is an inspirational garden intended to engage and stimulate the senses through a variety of plants and innovative garden design.

A sensory garden provides pleasure not only through its visual appeal but also through smell, touch, hearing and sometimes taste. This garden displays plants from the Eurobodalla region which add colour, form, fragrance and texture to the landscape.

The Botanic Gardens Plant Shop

The Plant Shop is open from 9-4 Wednesday to Sunday, every day during NSW school holidays and Public Holidays except Good Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

The plants we sell are produced with the help of our Gardens volunteers. They are propagated from seeds and cuttings sourced from collecting trips throughout our region and from within the botanic gardens own collection, then grown and hardened off right here at the Gardens.
