Some of the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden projects would not be possible without the support of State and Federal grants.
Forest Sensory Garden
The New South Wales Government backs our new sensory garden.
- The 'Everyone can Play' grant was set up as part of the NSW Government’s commitment to building stronger, resilient communities through inclusive play. The 2021-22 funding round included an allocation of up to $5 million in funding for the creation of new and upgraded inclusive playspaces.
- The Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden was successful in attracting over $500,000 to rebuild the sensory garden that was destroyed in the 2019 New Year's Eve bushfire. Our application was selected by the judging panel to become an ‘exemplar and destination project’ that would showcase innovation and inclusivity.
- Our new Forest Sensory Garden is in development during 2021 and is expected to be completed in late 2022.
Jenny Liney Scholarship
Each year the Friends of Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden contribute to supporting local studies in Natural Science by offering the Jenny Liney Scholarship for post-secondary study.
