Events

The Botanic Gardens offers a variety of venues. These venues are used to promote the Gardens to the public.

The Gardens is also used by community groups as a meeting place, and by schools to assist students in environmental studies.

More recently the Gardens has become a popular place for staging public activities such as family fun days, concerts and fund-raising activities.

Children's Play Space

With a planned opening postponed until early 2012.

As announced in the Friends July 2011 Newsletter, pavers are being sold to support the development. This is a great opportunity for the whole community to contribute towards the cost of play equipment.

Have a permanent reminder of your support of the Gardens on show at the entrance.

Pavers will be on sale until 30 June 2012 but it would be great to have yours in place before the opening.
