The Botanic Garden Pavilion

The Garden Pavilion is the perfect place to host your private function. With accessible drop off parking and wheelchair accessible barbecues. This venue can accommodate up to 60 for a sit down meal and includes tables, chairs, electricity, water and bbq’ s.

What is included in the hire fee

  • Exclusive use of the Pavilion
  • An urn and jug for boiling water
  • Tables and chairs to seat up to 60 guests (stored away in cupboards to be set up by the hirer)
  • Electricity
  • Two wheelchair accessible electric BBQ’s
  • Fresh drinking water to the sink
  • Drop off adjacent to the Pavilion for supplies
  • Drop off and pick up parking adjacent to the Pavilion for disability needs

Rules

  • Tables and chairs can be set up in any configuration but must be returned to the cupboards after use
  • Set up and pack up must be completed within the hours specified for hire
  • Rubbish must be taken away at the end of the function
  • Nails, tacks, tape or Blutak cannot be used to secure decorations

Loud music is not permitted

  • Smoking is not permitted in the Pavilion
  • Vehicles are permitted to drop off and pick up supplies and guests that require close access but must return to the main carpark for the duration of the hire period
  • After hours bookings are possible but must be approved by the Manager and will incur additional fees
  • The key is available from the Visitor Centre and must be returned at the end of the hire period

  • Only one group can book the facility at a time

Fees

  • Fee is $25 per hour with a minimum hire period of 2 hours
