Friends of the Garden Membership

Joining the Friends will give you the opportunity to meet like-minded people, join in social activities, and share in this significant project. In addition your Friends membership offers:

  • Quarterly meetings with a guest speaker and an annual excursion
  • Quarterly Newsletters
  • Discounts on purchases from the plant shop and gift shop
  • Social activities.

Join up now by

  • Downloading and printing the membership brochure filling in the application form and returning it to us at Friends of the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden Inc. PO Box 1068, Batemans Bay 2536. Download membership application form here;
  • Submitting online; or
  • Picking up a brochure at the Visitor Centre.

Annual Membership commences 1 July and extends to 30 June of the following year. Those joining after 1 January have membership until 30 June of the following year. All information provided by members will be dealt with in accordance with the Australian Privacy Policy Principles contained in Schedule 1 of the Privacy Act (1988).

Donations to the Friends Trust gives us the opportunity to contribute to specific projects, such as the Children’s Playspace ($25,000), printing of the bird identification brochure, and development of ‘Botanic Explorer’. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible through the Friends Trust Fund which holds Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. All donations are acknowledged.

Governance, Feedback

The management and activities of the Friends are carried out in accordance with a suite of governance documents:

  • Friends of ERBG Constitution
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the Friends of Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden and the Eurobodalla Shire Council
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the Friends of Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden and the Eurobodalla Shire Council concerning redevelopment of the ERBG visitor centre
  • Strategic Plan for the Friends, which is closely linked to the Eurobodalla Shire Council’s ERBG Strategic Plan.
